Step 1: The Explora Caribe team will confirm availability to process your reservation according to the date and tour you selected.
Step 2: Once availability has been confirmed you can make payment for the services at our PayPal account.
Step 3: You will receive a reply containing your confirmation key in which a summary of the reserved services will be presented and the balance of your payment will appear.
Very Important: Please print and bring your reservation confirmation for any clarification that may be required.
Our tours cancellation policy applies in the following way:
- • All cancellations made 12 hours (central México timezone) prior to the day the tour was reserved for will receive all their money back.
- • All cancellations made during the 12 hours prior to the day the tour was reserved and up until 30 minutes before the tour will receive 75% of their money back.
- • For clients that do not present themselves at the meeting point at the stipulated hour, having made no prior cancellation notices, will receive no money back.
Send your cancellation notice via email to [email protected] with the following information:
- • Name of the person who made the reservation.
- • Confirmation code
- • In case you just want to reduce the number of people participating in the excursion indicate how many people you wish to cancel from your original reservation.
Once your cancellation has been processed you will receive a cancellation confirmation via email. It is important you keep it for any clarification that may be required.

How can I pay my reservation?
Allof our payments are processed with the help of PayPal to guarantee safe transaction. If you would prefer to make a payment through alternative means you can reach us at [email protected] to receive additional information regarding alternative forms of payment.
Can I modify my reservation?
Of course you can. Whether you wish to change your activity, include more participants, modify the date, or make any other change we are here to help. Just send an email to [email protected] that includes your name and reservation confirmation code and ask for the changes you require. We will create a new reservation confirmation code which you must save. It is indispensable that the changes be made at least 24 hours prior to your activity to guarantee we are prepared to meet your needs. Depending on the changes you require it might be necessary to cover an additional cost which will be clarified to avoid any misunderstandings.
Can I cancel my reservation?
At Explora Caribe Tours we understand that plans can change. If for some reason you decide not to participate in an excursion you booked or wish to reduce the quantity of people that will participate we ask you take a look at our Cancellation Policies which you can find on our website or in you reservation confirmation email
Whats included in my tour?
Every tour includes different things. Some include food, snacks, water, entrances to parks, snorkeling equipment, vehicles, etc. We ask you carefully check the description of the tour you are interested in as it will explicitly mention what is included in that particular tour. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact us.
What should I bring on my tour?
Generally we recommend you bring comfortable clothes and shoes, a hat for sunny days, camera, and some extra cash for tips and shopping time. In every tours description we also have recommendations of what to bring.
What language will the tour be given in?
All of our guides are bilingual and the tour is provided in English and Spanish. If you come with a group and which to have your tour guide speak a different language we suggest you get in contact with us so we can provide you with different options of guides in your language.
Is transportation included from my hotel and pier?
Only in some cases. In other cases you will be clearly informed about the location of your meeting point and meeting time at which you must arrive either by taxi or some other means. We ask you carefully read the tour description to determine if there are pick-up options for the tour you are considering.
Can anyone participate in the tour?
At Explora Caribe Tours we are proud to be a company that does not discriminate gender, race, religion, nationality, disabilities or sexual preferences. Unfortunately not everyone can participate in all the tours we offer. This is due to two main reason: safety and accessibility. Some activities can be risky for people with health issues such as heart problems, asthma, back problems, or pregnancy. Additionally the locations we visit are not always accessible for people that have issues with walking. These restrictions are clearly mentioned in each tour description and we ask you take these in to account when booking a tour. Where is my meeting point?
Your meeting point will be mentioned in the description of your tour. We ask you make sure you know how to arrive at the specified location. If you have any doubts about the best way to arrive please get in contact with us so that we may provide you with different options.
How early should I arrive at my meeting point?
We ask you be at your meeting point no less than 20 minutes before the start of your tour so that we may begin on time and respect the established time line.
Can I book a private tour?
If you are coming with a group and wish to take a private excursion we ask you get in contact with us. We will be pleased to attend whatever needs of preferences you might have. We can provide you with a quote of the activities and destinations you desire. Additionally we can design a private tour based on a budget your provide us with and the activities you have in mind.
